I am getting word that Bob Pollock just left town because he didn't feel comfortable staying with fire approaching. That is 2nd hand message, I don't want to(speak) for him. He had a waiver to stay, and just left. It doesn't sound good at all.

Marie Zahn This morning it looked like Greer might be spared, looking at the map & direction of the wind. I'm horrified to hear this has changed. I haven't stopped praying for you all and will continue to do so. Greer is so beautiful, such a little slice of heaven. It makes me sick to my stomach to have it's beauty and it's homes threatened. I just spoke to Kristi Spillman and Mike Michael E Carter II and they are hanging around a place in Pine Top/Show Low with firefighters on laptops . .they the FF's will NOT confirm what we are saying about fire in Greer. . . .

Dan Rakosnik just spoke with Mark wade, fire is in greer at the south end and he thinks it will be heading up the north fork side (NE) in the direction of Heaven Scent cabins. He's in Oklahoma trying to get back . .
